The UK Agri-Tech Centre has unveiled a bold new initiative designed to put the spotlight on cutting-edge agri-tech companies that are quietly, but firmly, reshaping the future of UK farming. Dubbed “Grow Your Own Way; We Mean Business When it Comes to Agri-Tech”, the campaign seeks to highlight innovations across robotics, AI, advanced sensing and controlled-environment agriculture, while underscoring how the Centre is helping businesses scale.
At the heart of the campaign is a dedicated Growth Week, running from 2–6 February 2026 — a blend of virtual and in-person events aimed at helping agri-tech businesses overcome the barriers that often hold back sector growth.
According to Helen Brookes, Engagement Director at the UK Agri-Tech Centre: “We really do mean business when it comes to agri-tech. We support businesses and the sector to grow; while ensuring that these solutions have been trialled on-farm and are therefore robust and relevant to meet industry challenges.” The campaign is framed as a celebration of the “ingenuity and ambition” of those committed to building a resilient and sustainable agricultural sector.
Since its inception, the UK Agri-Tech Centre has engaged with more than 300 businesses, providing access to technical expertise, innovation hubs and an extensive farm network. This support has helped enable firms such as Upcycled Protein Power (UPP), Antler Bio and Fotenix to advance technologies that make food production systems more resilient and efficient.
For agri-tech watchers, the campaign offers a fresh lens on how public-private support and cutting-edge innovation can combine to accelerate the adoption of next-generation horticultural technologies throughout the UK — aligning neatly with growing pressure to boost domestic production, improve sustainability and secure long-term food resilience.
